The emergence of drug-resistant bacteria, however, threatens to undo these dramatic medical advances, potentially restoring common bacteria to their historical role as a significant threat to human health. Achaogen is pursuing unique strategies to combat these drug-resistant pathogens. Our scientific strategy is without precedent and represents a fundamentally new approach to
