  • For almost 40 years, Valley Community Clinic, a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) agency, has been the "family doctor" for the hard working, uninsured people of the San Fernando Valley. Founded in 1970 as a counseling center, the Clinic soon expanded to include a full range of free and low-cost, high quality, medical and health services. Ninety-five percent of our patients are working, but most have incomes below state poverty guidelines. No one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. The ethnic mix of our patients matches the ethnicity of our local community where the population is over
