24 Seven Enterprises, a growing fulfillment and logistics company is looking to expand some routes into the NY/NJ Metro and Upstate areas.  We are seeking sharp, process-oriented, Driver with experience in warehousing and/or Logistics to join the Operations Team. 

About the Position

The ideal candidate should be familiar with the local geography, streets, highways, traffic laws, as well as possess the ability to effectively manage and prioritize daily routes.  The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

·         Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing

·         Pack and load products onto trucks

·         Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes

·         Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher

·         Unload goods as per client instructions

·         Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs

·         Obtain delivery confirmations with BOL and PO documents

·         Follow DOT regulations, safety standards, and local traffic laws

• Mainting schedule for the vehicle (Oil changes, service etc)

Minimum Qualifications:

·         2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles i.e., Cargo Van, 26ft. Bob-tail Truck.

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Must meet DOT requirements

·         Clean DMV record (no moving violations within 12 months)

·         Attention to detail

·         Excellent verbal and written communication

·         Safety driven

·         Familiar with inventory practices

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively

·         Forklift experience is a plus

·         Team player

Hours of the position:

·        8am to 4pm (Monday to Friday)
