Position offered:  Senior Software QA Engineer (Finance)

Work Site: Morrisville, NC

Job Duties: Responsible for software quality assurance testing of various software and IT systems such as ERP, web applications, manufacturing software that include financial applications.  Duties include understanding systems integration between finance systems and other technologies; monitoring the configuration and deployment of financial systems into test environments for multiple projects, including tracking them as they move through development, build, deployment, and test cycles and ultimately converge in a single production cluster; improving internal processes via automation, implementation of corporate-wide standards in software versioning and deployment, source control labeling, and promotion of builds from one testing stage to the next; working closely with software developers, SQA, project managers, and cross-functional teams including software, IT, and Finance users; providing support for corporate business applications such as JDE and BRM in a QA environment.

Job Requirements: Requires Master’s in CS, Computer Information Systems, or related plus three years’ experience in computer systems programming or analysis for financial applications or Bachelor’s in CS, Computer Information Systems or related plus five years’ experience in computer systems programming or analysis for financial applications.

Required Experience: Required years’ experience must be in computer systems programming or analysis for financial applications.  Experience must include experience testing finance applications; working knowledge of ERP applications, including functionalities in finance and distribution modules; understanding of corporate financial concepts and accounting procedures, including advanced pricing, discounting, revenue deferral and recognition, cost accounting, GL, AP/AR, credit/debit processing; demonstrated knowledge of large-scale systems integration with finance systems; experience with testing and deployment of enterprise applications; understanding of databases and web applications; understanding of QA in SDLC, testing processes and methodologies; experience with HP QC.
