Job Description

AMSI is looking for an energetic and experienced HVAC dispatcher to join the company's growing service department. The dispatcher plays a critical role as the central communicator between many of the company's departments - and most importantly plays the role of translator between the customer and service technician who will be performing critical HVAC repairs.

The ideal candidate would enjoy working with customers, working with a large and diverse team, and complex problem solving.

Applicants must have:
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC service dispatching

- A demonstrated record of academic and professional success

- A solid foundation of knowledge of commercial HVAC and building automation control systems

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent customer service skills

- Proficiency in Service Trade, Service Titan or a similar cloud-based service dispatch software

Job Responsibilities:

- Receive service requests from customers and internal AMSI staff. Requests include emergency service calls, preventative maintenance scheduling, install scheduling, site surveys, construction CX and TAB assistance, and equipment start-up

- Enter all jobs into our cloud-based service management software including service location, billing address, call details, onsite POC, equipment records/assets, and any other pertinent notes or details for the job

- Order and track replacement service parts as needed

- Follow manufacturer warranty processes with great detail

- Prepare filter and belt lists for PM's as needed

- Ensure the company is performing seasonal contract PMs on schedule

- Assist in quoting repairs > $1,000 in price
