Asian Counseling & Referral Service seeks Adult Mental Health Clinical Case Manager. Provides culturally competent & recovery oriented case management & counseling services for Mandarin-speaking & other members of Asian American & Pacific Islander community living with mental illness.  Full Time, Seattle, WA.

Job Description: 

Provides culturally competent and recovery oriented case management and counseling services for Mandarin-speaking and other members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community living with a mental illness. Conducts comprehensive assessment and reassessments and develops strengths-based service care plans with clients. Provides individual and group counseling services in a variety of therapeutic modalities. Delivers client services based on the care plan. Provides outpatient crisis/emergency services. Provides client advocacy in attaining services and assistance. Provides holistic services to meet the range of clients’ whole-health care needs and based in recovery and wellness principles. Provides coordinated services in compliance with relevant State, County and City standards. Prepares progress notes and program documentation according to agency policy and system standards. Performs program outreach in the community.

Minimum Requirements: 

Master’s degree* in social work, social/behavioral science, clinical psychology or related field, or the foreign degree equivalent.  Mandarin language fluency required.

*Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree* in social work, social/behavioral science, clinical psychology or foreign degree equivalent and 3 years of experience providing social services to individuals and groups living with mental and emotional illness in lieu of a Master’s degree.

Location: 40 hours/week in Seattle, WA
