Controller - Healthcare

The Controller will identify, evaluate, develop, and support implementation of programs to enhance the overall effectiveness and profitability of the organization, providing the best possible healthcare and insurance services in the region. This position directs the overall finance and accounting activities for the medical center. Monitors data for positive and negative business/financial trends and proactively alerts executive team of potential problems and or opportunities. The controller will perform ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall fiscal efficiency and effectives of the services provided. Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. This position coordinates fiscal reporting activities with Corporate Finance. Responsible for coordination, development, and implementation of business plans and fiscal strategies assigned by executive leadership.
