- Experience calling on commercial, corporate, education, medical, industrial or any other vertical with businesses requiring commercial cleaning services; strong contacts in one or more verticals is a distinct advantage
- Solid computer skills including MS Office applications and CRM software experience
- Self-motivation combined with a passion for winning and the drive to get out in the field daily
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills; the ability to quickly build rapport
- Professionalism; a strong work ethic; excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
- Ability to regularly meet and exceed targets and goals

The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, as a sales representative, you will be responsible for selling comprehensive cleaning services across a range of industries. For example, our green cleaning program improves the quality of your client’s environment. Armed with HEPA filter vacuums, Green Seal-certified disinfectants and microfiber towels, we put safety and sustainability first. Naturally, you'll need outstanding sales and relationship building skills to earn contracts and reach your goals, but you can feel good knowing you're promoting best-in-class service.Daily, you will research, plan and call on businesses that can benefit from our services, delivering presentations and closing. You will track gained information, such as when contracts expire, decision maker names, services needed, etc. in our CRM software to build a strong pipeline. You'll use the full extent of your lead generation capabilities from cold calling to research to leveraging our database to revive past clients to traditional networking, event attendance and more, in order to uncover opportunities. Specifically, you will:
- Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by developing technical presentations for potential customers and maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends.
- Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
- Maintain all sales demonstration tools and applications.
- Close sales in a professional and effective manner to ensure the meeting of specific quota goals and the generation of revenue.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning to ensure effective market planning.
- Generate and qualify leads through in-person cold calling.
- Manage leads by tracking and following up on them through the use of PipeDrive CRM
- Produce activity reports (by request).
- Work with the Marketing Department to cross generate leads.
- Contact prospective clients through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, and mailings to extend initiatives with the company.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Human Resources and upper management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested.
