Applications Systems Analyst - Specialist (BlueCross & BlueShield of TN, Chattanooga, TN): Multiple positions.

Requires Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience; three (3) years experience with systems analysis and programming; expert working knowledge of .Net programming language; knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology and standards; demonstrated ability to lead, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and associated resources; demonstrated ability to interpret and translate technical and/or complex concepts into information meaningful to team members and/or business personnel; demonstrated proficiency in developing test plans, test cases, and unit testing; three (3) years experience with developing user interfaces using classic ASP,ASP.Net, ADO.Net and Code Behind modules; knowledge of interfacing routines and managed services along with Model View Controller (MVC) for creating design patterns; three (3) years experience with developing Web Application using C# language in Microsoft Visual studio; knowledge of Rest Services using ASP.NET, Web API, C#, and Consumed Web Services using WCF; three (3) years experience with database applications involving complex database queries, stored procedures, triggers, design and implementation with MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, DB2, SYBASE and Microsoft Access; expertise in release code management; expertise in automation needed to provision soft layer infrastructure using IBM Urban Code Deploy; expertise in Agile development environment including Scrum methodology; excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical forms; proven analysis, design, and coding skills, and demonstrated success in leading medium to complex technology-based efforts. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, will accept one year of technical experience for each year of requested college education in addition to the experience requirements listed above.
