Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Greetings! I am a literature professor and single mom who is seeking a caring, detail-oriented, creative, and warm part-time caregiver with lots of experience to take care of two girls (nearly 3 and just turned 6) and do some light housework (e.g. tidying, packing lunches, emptying dishwasher, folding laundry) on 1 or 2 evenings per week for roughly 2.5-3 hours each, for occasional longer evenings of babysitting (e.g. 4-6 hours), and possible occasional overnights. Ideally you would love to work with children, have significant experience with toddlers and early school years, and perhaps have an interest in crafts, music, art, and/or reading aloud. Some kind of child-whispering abilities are a big bonus! We live on a quiet, tree-lined residential street near Wellesley and Parliament (near the Riverdale Farm) with a sweet 5-year old cat who would love to be your friend :). We have a quiet, peaceful, low-tech household, and enjoy yoga, art, gardening, classical music, and reading books. If you speak French, Spanish, or Italian that would also be a bonus!
