IT Engineer

As a IT Engineer you will work closely with the Project Management team to successfully implement the technology solutions that have been designed and sold to our clients. We are extremely relationship focused. This role includes participating in the creation of the Statement of Work for each project and ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded during the implementation process.

We are seeking highly qualified technical experts for this role. The successful candidate will have a strong broad-based generalist background with specialized, proven experience in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.

Main Duties and Tasks:

• Implement and maintain IT solutions at our Data Center in DT LA.
• This position requires approximately 25% overnight travel
• This position requires support for East coast business hours and some after-hours availability.
• Deployments will be focused on Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, as well as other Citrix products including NetScaler (VPX) and ShareFile.
• Projects may also include additional technologies, including, but not limited to:
  • VMware
  • General AD infrastructure
  • Cisco firewalls
  • Network infrastructure changes
• Individual involvement in these other components will vary based on project and engineer
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements within existing technologies
• Be able to educate others within the organizations in the areas of your expertise
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• Must possess a minimum of 4-5 years of recent, relevant experience with Citrix, and preferably, all core Microsoft technologies, as well as Parallels RAS.
• Passion for, and willingness to, learn new technologies
• Excellent customer service skills
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
• Ability to travel to branch offices and client locations (nationwide)
• Knowledgeable in technology.
• Self-directed, self-motivated and capable of independently working on large-scale initiatives
