Position Description
1. BA / SA with experience in working with North American Healthcare Insurance providers.

2.Preferable to have experience in Agile, SQL (Databases and Archiving solutions) etc

3.Experience as a Business Analyst and in completing Requirement gathering and analysis and functional testing

4. Good work experience in working in all phases of the SDLC lifecycle.



• Sr BA will be working on Database Archiving solutions to build the end to end workflow and assist the Team Lead to document the process.

• In addition this role requires working with other scrum teams to plan the dependencies and make sure they are delivering per our needs.

• As an additional activity the Sr BA will be responsible for working on other applications.



Duties:

• Provide functional expertise: The business analyst will partner with application SMEs to gain a deep understanding of related applications and process areas.

• Acts as the liaison between business owners and IT: In addition to the partnership with application SMEs, the business analyst will also partner with other roles to ensure enterprise data capture needs are met. Works closely with systems analysts to ensure functional specifications are properly accounting for business needs. Facilitates meetings, as necessary, to review captured business needs and obtain approvals.

• Identify and document findings: The business analyst will work closely with other team members and create required project artifacts like requirements documents, application user-guides etc.

• Transfers knowledge to team/ collaboration: provides documentation that can be referenced for cross-training and issue resolution.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Skills:

• Proven ability in performing BA/SA roles

• Knowledge of healthcare business.

• Work experience in multi-site model including offshore/near shore

• Knowledge of Databases

• Good multi-tasking abilities

• Experience in managing project releases

• Experience in performing functional testing

• Understand what data/ information is needed to address a business question and how to analyze it and interpret results.

• Strong experience with identifying data and information requirements for business intelligence, analytics and reporting

• Ability to write basic SQL and knowledge of relational databases.

• Demonstrate acumen in understanding user report requirements

• Ability to communicate with business users and translate business requirements

• Ability to dissect and learn applications and database solutions

• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal direction

• Strong interpersonal skills and effective team player

• Ability to document processes and findings is essential to be successful in the role

• Excellent communication skills are a must as the analyst will be required to interface with application SMEs and present findings

• Clear understanding of agile software development methodologies and key best practices

Educational Requirement

• 5+ years related experience with Business Analyst roles

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or mathematics.
