Position Description
CGI is actively seeking a business analyst to join in the fast paced world of Federal ERP consulting. Candidate will join the team assisting with a variety of Momentum Financials related initiatives. This is a long term position and work will primarily take place at CGI Federal's headquarters in Fairfax, VA with occasional work at the client location in Washington, DC. Specific functions will include, but not limited to, analyzing current business processes, developing business/functional/technical requirements, developing and testing solutions to client reported issues, and supporting users with Momentum functionality. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of Federal ERP consulting and the Momentum product.


Your future duties and responsibilities
- Supporting external customers with analyzing current business processes, developing requirements, developing and testing solutions to client issues, and supporting end users with Momentum functionality.
- Attend and participate in meetings with client stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis on problems independently, research and recommend solutions, and execute resolution steps to address client issues.
- Provide functional support for testing such as developing test scenarios and documentation and performing validation testing for the core Momentum application and reports.
- Provide functional support for new initiative implementation activities, such as requirements analysis, development of design, and configuration documentation
- Provide support for federal government mandated iniatives

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Minimum of 2 years of ERP Financial Software (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Momentum) experience
- Accounting and/or Federal Accounting experience
- Must be organized and able to lead initiatives
- Independent, quick learner, and team player
- Must be able to commute to DC to client site as needed
- Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required
- Must be able to pass a CGI background check to start employment
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance to start employment

Desired Skills
- Experience with ERP implementations or support
- Experience with Treasury/IRS mandated initiatives (GTAS, CARS, 1099)
