Position Details Job order - J0118-0321 - Permanent Full Time Title Business Objects Developer Category Architecture City Arlington, Virginia, United States Job Description Business Objects Developer Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a SAP Business Objects Developer/ Data Analyst with minimum 5 years’ experience to be a part of our Implementation Team for a proprietary COTS product, Performance Budgeting®, with our Federal client in located in Rosslyn, VA. Candidates will join our Business Intelligence team and have experience in development for business intelligence/reporting/data warehouse. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills, will have experience with Enterprise Systems and a strong knowledge of SQL. This role requires a degree of independent analysis, so self-motivation and the ability to drive and own tasks are preferred. Top candidates for this position will work well in a collaborative environment and will be eager to learn new subject matter. All applicants selected for hire must possess US citizenship and be eligible for a SECRET security clearance, per client requirements. An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Your future duties and responsibilities • Development of business intelligence/reporting/data warehouse • Creating Web Intelligence reports • Perform Troubleshooting, research, and analysis • Document design, development, testing & deployment of Business Objects artifacts • May work on a particular workstream, reviewing, and directing the work with business; Coordinates activities between work streams and identifies changes in scope Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Active Secret Clearance • Expertise in complex Web Intelligence/universe reporting including multiple data providers, merging of data providers, row level security, derived tables etc. • Ability to create Web Intelligence reports with universes and directly against databases. • Expert knowledge of SQL with Table designs, Joins, Sub Queries, Performance tuning etc. • Universe Design with Single Data source in Business Objects 3.X and multiple data sources with 4.x versions of Business Objects. • Experience with Tuning of Web Intelligence reports and Universes • Strong understanding of database performance tuning as well as optimizing SQL queries • Ability to work with multiple teams members and be able to prioritize and multi-task with a track record of meeting deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills #CGIFEDERALJOB Build your career with us.
