Position Description
CGI is adding a UI/UX Cloud Architect to our team in Charlotte, NC. As a Cloud Architect, you will direct the aesthetics of a global Salesforce UI/UX experience and enhance the end user experience by leveraging multiple years of personal experience. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for quickly establishing themselves quickly as an UX Methodologies Expert and guiding best practices within a fast-paced agile team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class IT company, for a permanent position in the Charlotte metro area providing leading IT services to local enterprise clients.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Guide best practices, standards, and policies for UI/UX model, mobile deployment strategies, and workflows
• Lead client workshops to better understand the client’s needs and goals
• Leverage techniques including wireframing, storyboarding, interaction flows, sitemaps, and prototyping to assist in defining a client’s solution
• Create and obtain client approval for personas, scenarios, and journey maps to describe the intended user experience
• Be part of a fast-paced agile scrum team and participate in planning, documentation, execution, testing, and launch of projects



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related discipline is required
• At least five years' experience in UI/UX development with expertise in HTML, HTML 5, JavaScript and CSS; Experience in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and UI/UX development in a cloud environment is a plus
• Salesforce certification or equivalent experience
• Scrum or Agile methodology experience is a must with Scrum Master experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of team members, managers, and subject matter expects (SME)
• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
