Conversion Manager
Position Description
CGI, a leader in providing IT and Business Processing Outsourcing Services, has an opening for a Conversion Lead on an implementation project for our Utilities IP. This opportunity is located in the Bronx, NY and is a full time position.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Overall conversion strategy, conversion plan, and design
• Coordinate project activities related to profiling, cleansing the data with the client legacy system owners
• Plan and manage the design/development activities for transformation activities and loading the data into ARM
• Coordinate with System Integration Testing
• Coordinate with SQA Team
• Manage data conversation resources in India
• Participate in technical discussions/brainstorming sessions, designs; contribute ideas and strategies to enhance core platform products.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum (7) years of experience as a Conversion Manager
HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES
• Informatica and/or Oracle ODI
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or related discipline
• Associates degree with relative industry experience may be accepted
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED
• Workshop facilitation
• Experience in the Utilities industry, particularly with Gas Operations
