Your primary responsibility is to ensure a holistic view of all data-related functions and the data architecture of the FMBO portfolios. You will achieve this by defining the data architecture as well as designing, developing, managing and updating data models, including physical and logical models serving databases for online, transaction-based applications and specialized data-warehouse applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst/Modeller, you provide advice and guidance on IT concepts, architectures, policies and standards to management, colleagues and clients. You also contribute to the solution architectures, business requirements, process models, functional designs, micro design specifications and delivery strategies. You develop and sustain relationships with business partners and stakeholders in ITS and share technological trends and recommendations with colleagues, domain architects, and the leadership team.

You develop the data architectures for FMBO solutions by analyzing system integration challenges related to the data and proposing appropriate solutions. You contribute to performance measurement strategies and solution deliverables related to the data protection and recovery strategy, threat risk assessment, security sensitivity, and audit. You oversee all components of database solutions as core to the data domain (including quality assurance, documentation completeness and transition to the operation support area).

You contribute to the delivery strategy including new system components, overall performance measurements and standards, decommissioning of legacy systems and integration of data conversion components, to align with the cutover strategy and plans. You also provide the database analysis and design expertise to build the conceptual, logical and physical data models to support the solution components, which includes all data services within the data architecture. Following delivery of these solutions, you support day-to-day business transaction operations, business analytics, data discovery and reporting capabilities for data visualization.

You champion the portfolio data architecture framework and continue to build foundation components of the reference data architecture, which include standards, policies and guidelines supporting data governance, data architecture, the data lifecycle, data quality and protection, metadata management and master data management. In addition to this, you foster professional growth within the community of data modellers to evolve and promote the data management function.
