Database Lead Developer (Lafayette, LA)
Position Description
Database Lead Developer will work closely with the Application development team to ensure requirements are understood and documented for the database development team.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Must have Seven (7) years’ or more of experience in database technology as developer on large scale
• Must have full understanding of Relational database concepts and able to develop and design Relational data models.
• Must have experience and knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle 12C and other open source database such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and their uses.
• Participate in Daily SCRUM to ensure reporting of blockers and issues so that the SPRINT cycle is on track.
• Install, configure, and upgrade server and database components for DEV, SAT, QA and create implementation plans for production environments deployments.
• Develop and maintain scripts.
• Must be familiar with the GIT repository for all database scripts and artifacts.
• Create and maintain Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) via tools such as ERWIN or other similar ERD tools.
• Must have 5 years’ experience creating and designing queries and Tuning Queries.
• Must be able to trouble shoot and analyze production issues related to the database and queries.
