Position Description
CGI Federal has an opportunity for a General Engineer/Analyst to support the Utility Helicopter Project Office (UHPO) on Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville), AL. Candidate will be responsible for UH/HH-60M requirements allocation, traceability, verification and validation planning, and execution through the DOORs requirements database.


Your future duties and responsibilities
- Systems engineer responsible for advocating for rigorous systems engineering management principles and advising assigned Utility
Helicopters Product Office(s) or projects.
- Ensure system and subsystem requirements are traceable and verifiable.
- Review and adjudicate CDRLs and Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database submittals to analyze
requirement decomposition, allocation, traceability to parent/child requirements, and traceability to verification.
-Serve as resident SME on DOORS objectives and issues.
- Serve as UHPO DOORS admin supporting Systems Engineering
- Serve as database architect at UHPO.
- Advise TMD and Product Groups on architecture, schema, and attributes to facilitate UHPO objectives.
- Develop and execute DOORS management procedures.
- Develop processes for integrating and maintaining DOORS deliveries across projects.
- Develop and utilize scripts, templates, and views to extract data and facilitate reviews.
- Maintain security, access, and data integrity of UHPO DOORS database.
- Explore and implement process and database improvements.
- Serve as primary interface with PEO IT to coordinate licensing, versions, server issues, etc.
- Facilitate linking and sharing of DOORS data to meet objectives of external support organizations.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Ability to identify, develop, and maintain stakeholder requirements.
- Skilled in advanced use of DOORS software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manipulate database modules and link structures.
- Skilled at exporting DOORS data according to specific needs
- DOORs training/certification
- Experience assessing requirement allocations and traceability.
- Experience executing classic systems engineering principles for defense systems.
- Experience with requirement allocation, traceability, verification, and validation planning and
execution.
- Experience managing DOORS requirement databases with varied architectures and schemas.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical rotorcraft subsystems.
