Front End Developer
Position Description
CGI is hiring a Front End Developer for a large modernization effort. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join our team in Dallas, TX, and grow your career with the 5th largest IT services provider in the world. Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will apply an element of intellectual curiosity, as a self-starter who embraces continuous improvement and is execution-oriented, and a change agent. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills and maintain strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations. You must exhibit confidence and knowledge in solving complex problems
and have the ability to interface competently with other technical team members and other stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 4yrs+ experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (JSON, XML, REST, Bootstrap, SASS/LESS)
- Experience with Spring MVC or Angular, Ember.js, Backbone.js, Polymer.js
- Experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics
- Knowledge of ES6 or CoffeScript JavaScript development
- Able to write reusable Gulp.js/Grunt.js task and configurations scripts
- Knowledge in Node.js, Jenkins, GIT, Cross Browser development
- Experience in agile delivery methodology
- Experience with Restful services
- Able to write testable code using Cucumber.js and Selenium
- Create, define, and manage reusable UI code components
- Demonstrate ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
Nice to have:
- Mobile development experience in iOS & Android
- RxJS, Functional programming
Education:
Degree in Computer Science (BS or MS) or related technical field with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required.
