Your future duties and responsibilities
• Assist with/or author test automation, planning and execution
• Perform test automation analysis and design
• Perform automation estimates
• Build and maintain test automation stubs / harnesses and frameworks
• Participate in code creation, testing, and enhancement activities
• Identify and prepare test automation data
• Execute/maintain test automation scripts per test cycle activities as defined in the test plan
• Identify, log, and follow-up on all defects encountered
• Perform additional system testing-related activities, as required
• Communicate status and progress of testing activities directly to client stakeholders
• Produce “client-facing” and “CGI-internal” status reports, as required
• Participate in lessons learned reviews
• Participate in pertinent team training and knowledge transfer activities
• Update and maintain pertinent team training and knowledge assets
• Act as a mentor for other test automation team members, where applicable



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must have technical skills:
• Experience working in test automation
• Minimum 2 yrs working in progressive business/IT sector
• Experience with Selenium and/or Cucumber and/or Protractor
• Minimum 2+ yrs experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with VB Script and other scripting languages (e.g. VBA, JavaScript, etc.)

Required Level of Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
• Industry recognized testing certification(s)
