UI/UX Developer
Position Description
CGI is seeking a Mid-Level UI Developer to join an exciting team that provides support to federal client at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The selected candidate will join the project team as a UI/UX developer for a UI redesign effort that will require extensive involvement in the design, development, testing and implementation of the UI framework and in the maintenance and support of the system going forward.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Required qualifications:
• A related degree with minimum 3-5 years of software development experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience on UI development frameworks with Angular JS
• Experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.
• Ability to define, architect and implement UI/UX solutions based on requirements and design.
• Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Preferred:
• Hands-on knowledge and experience in Java JEE technologies, including Jboss, ESB, Web services, XML, JSON, Spring MVC.
• Have prior experience working on compliance with section 508 accessibility controls.
• Have prior experience in frontend security for role-based application security.
• Fast Learner with strong analytical skills
