Job Description Oracle Business Analyst

Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Business Analyst/Tester to support one of our programs. The Oracle Business Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Applications financial modules, supporting users at multiple sites in North America on a daily basis. In addition, this role will assist with day to day Oracle support, enhancements, and major project initiatives and involves the understanding of the financial, projects, and contracts modules of the Oracle EBS R12 suite. This position is a functional role.

Required Skills
• Define business requirements by engaging with business partners, designing and developing customizations, conversions and interfaces.
• Analyze, design, configure, and support business applications, monitoring Oracle release notes for beneficial new features
• Maintain all functional deliverables including design specifications and documentation of configuration changes.
• Day to day support of Oracle users of Oracle Projects (Accounting, Costing, Billing, Management, Contracts, and Manufacturing)
• Assist with customer, product, and process integration related to evolving business requirements
• Continual improvement process recommendations and implementation related to the customer experience.
• Experience using reporting tools that are leveraged by the finance and accounting organizations and ability to support these tools (Oracle OBIEE/OBIA and Hyperion).
• Assist with implementation of new functionality and reports as approved.
• Work with accounting, finance and IT to design, develop and maintain Oracle EBS software to support strategic and financial initiatives.
• Troubleshoot Oracle EBS issues, whether related to core functionality or those originating from customization, extensions, or interfaces.
• Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform functional testing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required Experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle Projects and Financials
• Participated in full cycle Oracle EBS R12 implementations
• Strong hands on experience with Oracle Projects, SLA (Sub Ledger Accounting). Knowledge of Oracle iSupplier, Inventory, Purchasing, or Manufacturing is a distinguishing factor
• Must have strong problem solving skills including analytical, logical, investigative and methodical.
• Experience working with various groups and individuals to gather requirements, identify, test and implement solutions efficiently.

Required
Experience with Hyperion Budget and Planning tools
Project accounting, financials, and contracts experience
Due to the nature of the requirements, US citizenship is required.
