Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Program Manager to lead a large team tasked with developing and implementing a major procurement system. The Program Manager will manage teams through the planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and integration and maintenance of large-scale application roll outs to replace legacy systems for a major federal civilian agency.


Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead program through entire program lifecycle: requirements development and prioritization, integration, test and evaluation and deployment.
- Manage program through the client’s lifecycle.
- Understand the requirements, environmental factors, organizations, activities, constraints, risks and motivations impacting the program.
- Know the established framework, managerial systems and processes.
- Comprehend and puts to use the basic skills of management-planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling
- Manage and coordinate the activities of contractor’s delivery team including subcontractors.
- Communication with government program leadership and management and team members.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 10 or more years of IT program management experience.
- 5 or more years of IT program management experience federal civilian clients.
- PMP Certification required.
- Prior experience supporting HHS.
- Demonstrated experience with FAR requirements.
- Be able to assist with the management of task schedules and allocated resources.
- Specific experience is required for program management, systems engineering, development and testing.
- Experience leading major ERP implementations (full systems development lifecycle).
- Experience with federal acquisition activities, including pre-award, award and post-award activities.
- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies (including cloud, cyber security and mobile) demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to travel 10-25% to HHS locations as needed.
