Quality Assurance Analyst
Position Description
CGI is seeking to hire Quality Assurance Analysts for a significant AML Regulatory projects.
The candidate will be responsible for performing ad-hoc and regular Quality Assurance testing to assess the adequacy, adherence, and effectiveness of the KYC Policy.
Activities will encompass the full testing life cycle, primarily in manual testing. Any automation testing experience would be helpful as part of the testing activities will include writing automation scripts.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Analyse requirements / user stories and create the appropriate test cases, documenting them in an appropriate test management tool (e.g. HPAML/HPQC)
• Interact with Business Analyst to identify any point that is not clear
• Prepare test data based on the requirements and test cases
• Execute the test cases
• Based on the findings document possible defects and discuss them with the development team
• Retest defects once an appropriate fix is available
• Execute exploratory testing
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Strong analytical, investigative, reporting, and planning skills.
• Outstanding written and spoken communication abilities.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Highly organized and capable of dealing with complex projects.
• Strong capability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Initiative and strong drive to reach objectives
• Experience with HPALM/HPQC, and Jira
• Demonstrable previous experience working in AML
