Quality Assurance Tester - ClearVision SME
Position Description
CGI is seeking to hire a QA Tester with proven ClearVision experience to liaise with subject matter experts, project management, and Operations. In this role you will be responsible for creating clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases across these teams for comprehensive test plan. This position is based in NYC.
Your future duties and responsibilities
? Review functional and design specifications, Clearvision software release notes to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
? Create workflow diagrams to highlight key components or business rules for major changes.
? Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
? Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
? Liaise with upstream and downstream application owners to run end-to-end testing and obtain proper sign-offs.
? Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
? Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
? Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
? Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
? 10 + years are BA / QA on ClearVision product.
? Previous experience as subject matter expert to lead large Clearvision software upgrades and ensure quality.
? Clear communicator (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases. To communicate bugs to team and other stakeholders
? Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
? Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
? Inquisition – the ability to challenge and question and raise concerns related to production changes.
? 3-5 years experience with Clearvision application
? Knowledge of Clearvision components, data flow, and business processes
? Understanding of core Clearvision functions, carte blanch, give-ins, give-ups
