Position Details Job order - J0917-0892 - Permanent Full Time Title SAP Senior Application Security Consultant Category Database Administration City Markham, Ontario, Canada Job Description SAP Senior Application Security Consultant Position Description SAP Senior Application Security Consultant Your future duties and responsibilities • Requires in-depth knowledge of SAP Security concepts and administration. The candidate will support a variety of SAP functional environments working directly with the client and other staff to maintain and support the client's production and test/dev System landscapes. • Responsibilities would include design of SAP security strategy according to customer requirements and SAP best practices. Design of Application security strategy according to best practices on the IT industry for on premise and cloud based applications. Must be able to support and administer SAP security of SAP environments (ECC, BI, EP, XI/PI, GRC, other software applications as required) and troubleshooting system authorization problems. Must be able to support network access controls as well as messaging and cloud services. • Duties include the creation of roles, profiles, user ID's and custom authorization objects. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with the client and various support organizations. • Experience with SAP XI/PI, Portals, BI and GRC security is desired. • Must be detail oriented and have demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks, deliver on schedule, understand and manage priorities and raise risks/issues on a timely basis. • Excellent client interaction and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to facilitate meetings to gather requirements and present solutions • Requires basic experience managing and supporting SAP GRC for privileged access control and documentation and system administration. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • 5 years of experience in SAP Security Analysis and SAP Technical Administration or support • 5 years of experience in IT security managing access controls for multiple applications • 5 years of experience in SAP Security within ECC, BI/BW, SAP Portal, GRC, and other Build your career with us.
