Job Description Senior Agile Business Analyst/Scrum Master

Position Description
CGI is looking for a Senior Agile Business Analyst/Scrum Master. Their primary responsibility will be to accurately capture the business needs in clear and easy to understand stories. The BA should become the subject matter expert (SME) in the business processes. As Scrum Master they will ensure the team is performing at their highest level. This involves removing any impediments to progress, facilitating meetings, and doing things like working with the business process owner to make sure the project is on schedule and ready for the next sprint.


Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Business Owners, business stakeholders and developers to understand the project vision / roadmap and translate that into the sprints.
• Define detailed stories with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners and technology team.
• Create and manage a backlog of clearly defined and prioritized user stories.
• Facilitate scrum sessions with the team.
• Work closely with developers to support the agile development process
• Review and approve finished development work before release into production.
• Assist with basic project management task as required.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment, e.g. Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to create user stories, process flows and wireframes in order to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements.
• Extensive experience at conducting requirement gathering sessions and then concisely documenting their outcome.
• Proven experience of managing and prioritizing a backlog of user stories.
• Superb attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to speak knowledgeably with members of both the business and development teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings of analysis
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, relationship and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of web development environments, sufficient to understand the implications of issues within web-based applications.
• Multiple years of working in a Microsoft Dynamics or similar development environment.
• Experience delivering call center functionality is a plus.
