Position Description
Join Canada's largest IT services company as a Senior .NET Developer to perform application design and coding for its project in banking.

The individual will be joining a dynamic team that is collaborative in its working environment with an agile/scrum methodology. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across the globe and work on highly-visible projects for our key wealth management clients in Canada.



Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work closely with the design team to create best-in-class enterprise applications and web solutions.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable and responsible code.
• Troubleshoot programming problems independently and in peer groups.
• Solve unique and complex technical problems.
• Be at the forefront of capital markets technology.
• Evaluating machine learning tools and algorithms.
• Deploying machine learning algorithms to automate client confirmations for bond baskets



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 8 to 9 years of experience as full stack .NET developer.
• Strong knowledge of :
o .NET
o C#
o MVC
o Angular
o MS SQL
o WCF
o SSIS
o SSRS
o Some banking knowledge.
• Ability to ensure that coding/design practices correspond to the company’s standards, which are based on an internal framework and defined methodologies
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design & Patterns
• Ability to design (with documentation) and code of application modules based on written specifications, with use of unit-testing methodologies
• To co-develop solutions that fully satisfy and keep up with changing and growing client requirements
