Cloud Senior Solutions Architect- (AWS)
Position Description
The Cloud Senior Solutions Architect (AWS) will work directly with clients modernizing legacy applications and infrastructure. This will include data center consolidation, lift and shift, upgrade in place, enhancements, and cloud migrations. The Senior Solutions Architect will be the client’s trusted advisor and make recommendations on the best approach to achieving digital transformation. A full understanding of CGI’s capabilities will be required in order to ensure the best possible solutions are presented to the client for consideration.
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Cloud Senior Solutions Architect (AWS) will be responsible for responding to RFPs, developing the technical solution, contributing to the financial solution, and delivering the solution upon award.
Strong technical depth across cloud technology areas -- depth in several areas, and breadth and interest across a much larger range.
• Provide technical leadership to account delivery teams, as well as customer business leaders
• Troubleshoot technical issues, especially recurring problems impacting production applications
• Design, document, and maintain architecture diagrams for systems, processes, and interfaces
• Designs cost models and architecture infrastructure solutions for technical projects/applications
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
*Experience building prototypes, pilots, or full products in cloud environments.
• Experience with architecture modeling practices
• Legacy infrastructure modernization
• Data center consolidation
• Cloud migration to Azure or AWS
• Cloud architecture in Azure or AWS
• Previous RFP creation or client engagement role
SKILL SET:
Enterprise Architect: 10 Yrs. - Proficiency Level of Senior
Business Development : 10 Yrs. - Proficiency Level of Senior
Cloud Architect : 5 Yrs. - Proficiency Level of Senior
Education:
College Degree or equivalent work experience.
Must be open to travel.
