POSITION DESCRIPTION
The person who fills this position will be joining and assist in leading a dynamic team with a local Arizona client to implement and integrate a customer relationship and case management solution in a government agency. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the country implementing similar projects and have a mentor to gain experience on CGI’s Delivery excellence in our project processes and methodologies.



Your future duties and responsibilities
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking a Senior Technical/Solutions Architect with consulting experience to provide a unified technology vision and direction to agile development teams to lead a technical integration project for 3rd Party software applications integrating with internal and external systems. This role requires in-depth technical architecture and systems integration experience with the ability to understand business problems, analyze complex issues, architect viable solutions, promote simplification and reuse, and communicate with executives using business terms. Must have demonstrated success facilitating client needs into effective business solutions. In addition to defining the technical solution architecture, the Technical Architect provides the vision and guides the project team in creating and implementing the data and integration governance model, building the solution based on the defined architecture, converting legacy data using proven methodologies and tools, and ensuring a security plan is created and implemented across multiple solution components. The technical architect is a visionary senior technical leader with 20+ years of proven technical solution architecture experience for strategic initiatives.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Experience required includes:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical development of IT applications, including knowledge in:
o Solution and Technical Architecture
o Platform based technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Pega)
o Systems integration in a complex technical and business environment
o Implementation of business technology solutions
o Full software development lifecycle, using agile and waterfall methodologies
o At least two IT projects with at least 15-20 team members
o Experience providing leadership in working with external partners / vendors

Hands on experience implementing the following technologies, processes and tools:
o Application of PMI and ITIL management principles
o Application and technical architectures for complex business solutions
o Implementing cloud based or COTS application solutions and integrating with external systems using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology
o Leading migration and data conversion activities from strategy/planning through implementation
o Expert in leading and coaching teams on Lean / Agile methodologies that deliver results based on agile workflows, open communication, and metrics driven processes.
o Implementing a DevOps organization, processes and tools
o Experience defining and implementing a Data and Integration Governance program
o Understanding of the risks and challenges with incremental modernization approaches
o Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services
o Object Oriented Development (e.g., Java, C++, .Net)
o Database Architecture (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)
