Position Description
The Software Development Engineers shall have responsibility for application coding tasks and small design tasks as coordinated with the Software Development Engineering Lead. Tasks to Software Development Engineers shall be assigned by the PM and/or Software Development Engineering Lead. The Software Development Engineer shall be experienced in application coding design and standards.


Your future duties and responsibilities



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience supporting data management activities):
• Seven (7) years’ or more experience with Red Hat and JBoss Enterprise Server.
• Oracle PL/SQL Certified Associate or seven (7) years’ experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience implementing the MVC Development Methodology (Model/View/Controller)
• Experience implementing JEE applications and design patterns.
• Experience with GUI development JavaScript and JQuery and AngularJS.
• Experience with Queuing concepts.
• Experience with developing and managing data models with data modeling tools.
• Experience designing and developing solutions with Java Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE/JEE) in an Agile Software Development environment
• Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
• Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL
• Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ and IBM MQ Series.
• Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including IE and Chrome. Responsive web design includes Bootstrap and Angular.
• Experience with W3C web design standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript and Asynchronous technology such as JQuery and AngularJS
• Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation
