Job Description Sr. Federal Financials Systems Analyst

Position Description
The Sr. Federal Accounting Systems Analyst will join our team to assist with a variety of related initiatives and tasks related to a federal ERP implementation.

This role will work with key stakeholders across the client base to modernize their existing accounting elements into a defined CGAC based structure to provide for Federal reporting requirements such as GTAS, Data Act, SF-133, OIT TBM Reporting, Cost Accounting as well as Congressional inquiries and improved internal reporting capabilities.



Your future duties and responsibilities
•Team member of the Accounting Code Structure configuration team.
•Solicit, document and refine requirements for required and client defined accounting elements.
•Support testing and development of data crosswalks for data conversion
•Other duties as assigned in support of the migration or other related projects such as production support, upgrades, etc.
•Interact with senior government clients.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
•Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
•Must have 7-10 years' experience in Federal Finance and/or Accounting.
•Must have experience with Federal ERP and Lines of Accounting Data Elements
•Knowledge of the federal financial processes and U.S. Treasury guidelines
•Prior experience in implementing a federal financial system for an agency
•Problem solver along with ability to multi task
•Prior consulting experience in any of the following areas:
o Business process improvement
o Budgeting and Financial policies and procedures,
o System integrations
•Work independently
•Strong Communication Skills
•Experience in requirements gathering and BPR analysis
•Skilled in Microsoft Excel
•Prefer some knowledge of SQL
•Prefer experience with Momentum Financials/Accounting/Budget
•Due to the nature of this US government contract, US Citizenship is required.
•Must be able to pass a CGI background check to start employment.
