Job Description Sr. Informatica Developer

Position Description
As a dedicated member of the CGI Federal project team, s/he will be primarily responsible for the design, development, and support of the data integration/ETL component for the MAS project. The primary task associated with this role is the use of the Informatica PowerCenter ETL platform to extract, transform, and load operational data into the business intelligence environment. S/he will also be responsible for providing Tier-2 production support of the ETL process.


Your future duties and responsibilities
Essential Skills Required:
• Demonstrated mastery of Informatica PowerCenter
• Demonstrated ability to translate reporting requirements into design
• Strong background in data modeling
• Experience interpreting and understanding multidimensional and normalized data models
• Demonstrated ability to write and optimize SQL code and stored procedures
• Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills
• Strong background in Oracle BI (DAC)



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Demonstrable expertise in ETL in a Data Warehouse setting 5+ years
Strong Database knowledge (Oracle) 5+ years
Experience with data warehouse lifecycles and methodologies 5+ years
Able to design ETL technical/functional specifications 5+ years
Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter product 5+ years
