Position Description
CGI is looking for a Sr. .Net Programmer Analyst to join our team in Indianapolis, IN for a Healthcare Client.


Your future duties and responsibilities
Require a Senior Programmer Analyst to provide internal expertise and guidance for software systems. Assist functional areas in designing and implementing new or modified business processes within core and specialized systems. Assist in define business requirements for core and specialized systems as it relates to the technical solution using C#, .Net, PL/SQL, stored procedures, SSIS and SSRS. Some level of exposure to Healthcare insurance business is preferred.

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in C#, .Net and Microsoft SQL Server.

1. Performs software analysis, design, test, and implementation of individual projects.

2. Act as internal consultant during design, analysis and development process

3. Assist internal and external software organizations in process mapping business specification definition, joint application development and application testing

4. Assist Data Analysts in understanding core and specialized systems data structures and how business processes are manifested

5. Responsible for project documentation and management

6. Forecasts the need for additional hardware and software for assigned projects

7. Assists programming manager in project design analysis and timeframes

8. Produces and maintains project management schedules

9. Performs project analysis, programming, testing

10. Weekly project update reports to programming supervisor

11. Maintain full understanding of claims processing software as well as other software which may be utilized in the future

12. Communicate with clients/vendors as necessary to aid in project design and development

13. Other duties as assigned



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. C#, .Net, PL/SQL Programming experience.

2. Experience developing database-driven web applications.

3. Experience in Application designing preferably in Healthcare insurance domain.

4. SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and data mining a plus.

1. Excellent verbal and written communications skills – this cannot be overemphasized

2. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-centric focus

3. Strong analytical skills and experience with eye for detail

4. Strong desire to improve business through appropriate technology and process improvement

5. Aptitude and interest in learning all aspects of the business

6. Experience using and appreciation of standard change control procedures

7. Prior programming experience within managed care organization

8. Self-motivated and able to work effectively without supervision within a small team in the Carmel, Indiana office.

Educational Requirement

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
