Job Description Sr. Oracle BI Developer / OBIEE

Position Description
CGI is seeking a Senior Oracle BI Developer/OBIEE to service a health care client of ours in Philadelphia, pa.

The OBIEE Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing the commands data warehouse strategies as well as OBIEE dashboard development and much more. The Sr. Engineer will participate in customer face to face planning and requirements gathering.

- Design & develop business intelligence data models required by analytics applications such as interactive dashboards & ad- hoc reports

- Provide support, maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning to current business intelligence applications.

- Develop reporting and executive dashboard applications, and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) applications.

- Applications completed this year are: Evaluation Reporting System (ERS formerly Single Evaluation Processing System (SEPS)), Unemployment Compensation for Ex-Service Members (UCX) and Common Operating Picture Synchronizer (COPS)

- COPS Administration in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) which includes application security administration (add/modify remove users, modify access level)

- Primary production support for COPS in OBIEE (i.e. address Remedy Help Desk tickets related to COPS OBIEE)

- Primary production support of the ETL for U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) Commander’s Dashboard using IBM DataStage

- Development of online reports, analyses, dashboards in OBIEE and ETL processes in IBM DataStage for ERS, USAREC Commander’s Dashboard, COPS and UCX.



Your future duties and responsibilities
JavaScript experience

- Experience with BI toolsets

- BI Publisher report development

- OBIEE performance tuning

- Familiarity with database SQL



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Educational Requirement

- A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field with 9+ years of experience with business intelligence products or a Master’s and 7+ years of similar experience. PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. 4 additional years of related experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Must be able to read and write complex SQL (subqueries, unions, inline views, functions).

- Experience Implementing BI solutions using Oracle BI (OBIEE).

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
