Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Service Area Lead/Systems Architect in the area of computing and storage management. This position will support a client contract in Rockville, MD. We are looking for someone who has the ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives in a fast paced, high pressure and relatively complex technical environment


Your future duties and responsibilities
This role will support a contract with a client in Rockville, MD. In their capacity as Service Area Lead, this individual shall be responsible for working directly with the client to maintain and incrementally improve their respective support areas. This person will also participate in direct operational delivery of services as well as act as Lead resource


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience with the following:

• Managing and configuring storage area networks (SANs) and Network-attached storage (NAS)
• Supporting (or trained in) Compellent SAN technologies, VMware Architecture, and Citrix XenApp implementation
• Managing, supporting, and optimizing storage-based replication DR solutions with VMware SRM technology
• Creating and managing VMware virtual server images
• Managing, configuring, and supporting tape solutions using technologies such as (but not limited to) CommVault and IBM Tivoli
• Managing, configuring, and supporting VMWare-based virtual environments
• Configuring, provisioning, and supporting public IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments

*Due to the nature of the contract, US citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
