Job Description Technical Lead - Data Management

Position Description
The Technical Lead- Data Management will be responsible for Data Management activities. It is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for masking of confidential data for testing purposes based on privacy and regulatory requirements, test data profiling , synchronization of test data between systems integrated in non-production environments, sub-setting of data from production volumes for testing needs and environment sizing.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work on Data Management intake requests, determine scopes and prioritize deliverables.
• Work with Database Administrators (DBAs) to implement data masking strategies.
• Manage stakeholders and set the expectations based on the project deliverables.
• Provide and track progress of the entire project.
• Work on Test Data Management platform, access required by the team, contribute as subject matter specialist based on the technical expertise.
• Work on various data source types including SQL, DB2, Oracle.
• Work with Data Management Lead on risks and issues, future planning, milestone definitions, and help with critical issues of the project.
• Contribute and support the execution & delivery of data masking and data management deliverables to the clients.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 6 + years working in Technical Project Management or Test Data Management.
• Knowledge of IBM optim, Open Systems, and related data sources like SQL, DB2, Oracle, Exadata.
• Proven track record in providing solutions, presenting alternative plans, reaching a consensus, controlling scope, and identifying impacts of changes.
• Working knowledge of data pipeline management, ETL/ELT and data/system architecture.
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
• Strong knowledge of data masking, Test Data Management strategy and implementation.
