Job Description UI Technical Architect/Senior Developer

Position Description
CGI is seeking a Technical Architect (UI) join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. You’ll have the opportunity to set standards, design the architecture and manage day to day user interface creation as a part of a large scale modernization effort – on a 30+ member team! This role will represent the project in Customer Technical conversations and has the ability to help set technical direction. The Technical Architect will mentor more junior team mates and assist with project leadership.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Lead all user interface aspects of multiple teams
• Establish, manage and enforce UI standards
• Lead the architecture and high level decision makings for a complex user interface
• Mentor junior UI developers
• Serve as representative of the project to the large organization in terms of UI.



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
8-10+ years of IT experience
Experience leading teams and working with large scale projects
Significant experience as a Front-End developer
Knowledge of Java REST APIs, with experience a plus
Communicate effectively with clients and interact with client's Senior Management Team

• Angular JS – 4+ years
• Java – 5+ years
• ES2015 – 2+ years
• HTML / CSS / SASS – 5+ years
• Significant experience as a Front-End developer
• Knowledge of Java REST APIs, with experience a plus

Desired Skills:
• Team Management
• Experience with Agile
• Financial Sector experience
• SDLC process

Education: A Four year Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other relevant field. Experience may be considered in lieu of completed Degree
