• Upgrading & Installing new workstations
• Provides a high level of customer service support for office automation applications, servers, laptop and desktop computers, and printers.
• Troubleshooting workstations, printer, connection problems
• Monitoring of network, servers and business systems.
• Configuring profiles and other user specific requirements
• Maintains a database or log of all servers and patch level to ensure compliance.
• Installing and configuring applications
• Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming helpdesk tickets, via telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
• Setting up new printers
• Ensures that all work performed has an associated ticket. Interviews user to collect diagnostic or experiential information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error.
• Logs and tracks calls using the TigerPaw ticketing system and maintains history records and related problem solving documentation.
• Diagnoses reported hardware, software, and network problems.
• Software Patches
• Modifying user accounts/email settings/profiles
• Resolves or repairs if possible and contacts additional technical support as necessary.
• Maintains servers whether virtual or physical and business systems patched and updated
• Troubleshoot various AV and teleconference room issues
• Provides procedural guidance, demonstrates, and provides direction on various systems.
• Continues to improve and deploy technical expertise through the identification of new technical alternatives to resolve problems and/or general improvements.
• Accurately documents and reports problems to technical staff for resolution.
• Accurately documents solutions and fixes and disseminates them accordingly
• Performs departmental administrative duties as assigned, such as generation and tracking of purchase requests, maintenance contracts, staff data, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Provides conference calling via Skype for Business, WebEx, fax and E-mail directory support through the use of multiple platforms and applications.
• Backup setup
• Maintain internal/external DNS records
• Maintain Active Directory tree; accounts, OU’s, scripts, etc.
• Maintain Certificate for SSL (VeriSign and internal CA)
• Modify ports on Firewall
• Maintain Servers and Communications Gear (Replacement)
• Server troubleshooting; hardware and software
• Network/Firewall/VPN modifications
• Server Patches
• Domain wide Antivirus updates
• Exchange related tasks such as defrag
• Event log review
• Disk defrag and Scandisk
• Maintain 3rd party software
IT Consulting (Full Staff – Remote or On-Site):
• Analyze Infrastructure
• Find inefficiencies and correct
• Make IT recommendations that will show a higher client ROI
• Analyze client industry & competition to create competitive advantage
