We have multiple 2-3 week shoots for a major homewares brand quickly approaching that will require a Food Stylist and an Assistant (on light days there may not be an assistant). The Food Stylist would be on set every day, creating beautiful prep shots (slicing, etc) and “End Result” shots (final plating). The videos focus on the key features of each product but all end with a dish created by (or with the help of) the featured product. Foods include but aren’t limited to: Ice Cream, beef, steak, poultry, veggies, fruits, salads, roasts, etc. This person should have a should have stellar assistants they enjoy working with.
Cooking and prep will happen in our studio where there is a full pantry kitchen, 2 refrigerators, a convection oven, microwave, toaster oven, hot plates and multicooker. There’s also a large selection of cutlery, pots and pans and gadgets but the Stylist would be expected to bring their own kit to supplement what we have in house as needed.
Responsibilities Before Shoot:
- Submit inspiration photos based off the pre-approved End Result in each storyboard
- Source ingredients
- Book and hire their own assistant
- Work out any critical timing details with Assist. Director ahead of shoot days to ensure scheduling is done smartly

- Keeping kitchen area organized and clean at the end of each shoot day
