Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner in Sunny and Scenic Wenatchee, WA!

Confluence Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Behavioral Health team. The Behavioral Health Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of Behavioral Health providers and will provide direct clinical services including medication evaluation and management to a diverse population of patients referred by Confluence Health / Wenatchee Valley Medical Center Providers, and community partners.

• No call responsibilities.

• Master's Degree in nursing with specialty in psychiatric nursing from an accredited program.

• Current or the ability to acquire an unrestricted license as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington.

• Current certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

• At least two years of experience post Master's degree under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional is preferred.

The successful candidate will provide mental health services consistent with the ethical guidelines of the profession and the policies and procedures of the Behavioral Health Department. These services may include, but are not limited to:

• Psycho-social assessment.

• Medication evaluation and management of psychotropic medications.

• Consultation to physicians regarding psychotropic medications.

• Crisis intervention, consultation, triage.

• Some individual therapy.

• Hospital/Emergency Department consultation.

• Case management.

• Reports and correspondence as appropriate.

• Consolation with departmental therapists regarding mutual clients’ medication needs and concerns.

• Tele-health to rural outreach areas.
