My Client, a global Manufacturer of indispensable products, is now looking to recruit an Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to provide engineering leadership and coordination and ensure that the equipment has engineering and process capability to achieve operational targets. Also to provide specialised engineering support to both the day work and shift teams. To be responsible for the ongoing sustainability and improvement of the equipment through the application of sound engineering practices.



Responsibilities: Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Provide support to the shift operation to rectify issues that are preventing equipment from running to target.

Responsible for the delivery of the appropriate maintenance strategy for the asset to ensure availability to complete operational targets.

Carry out Reactive Maintenance on breakdowns to ensure down time is kept to a minimum.

Identify, lead and carry out Continuous improvement projects that drives OEE and asset reliability.

Ensure that all replacement and improvement activities are planned, scheduled and led effectively to agreed standards, within agreed timelines.

Screen new Work Notifications, to prioritise and cost the work.

Support the development of site wide reliability systems, including preventative and predictive maintenance programs to support the asset operating commitments

Provide support for RSR/MSRs and development of new product initiatives, including machine design limits and modifications to complete product upgrades.

Provide support in the development of Reliability and LEAN skills in the operating teams

Ensure the asset database and Technical documentation is up to date.

Involvement in the maintenance and improvement of electrical standards.



Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Qualified to Degree level

Able to demonstrate high regard for safe working practices

DCS (Distributive Control Systems) experience- ABB 800xA,Emerson (Rosemount), Metso DNA

Siemens or Rockwell (Allen Bradley) PLC and HMI fault finding and programming experience.

Experience of leading small projects

An analytical approach with excellent problem solving skills

Experience of managing contractors with a high emphasis on safety

Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)

Experience carrying out a similar role within one of the following sectors; Manufacturing, FMCG, Material Handling, Recycling / Waste Transfer or Power Station.
