Hospital employed group of BE/BC Residency trained desires to add for increasing volumes. New building, 78 private beds with state of the art equipment and dedicated Radiology Department. Servicing a 490 bed Medical Center. One of the busiest ED's in North Carolina. Adult ED volume is 120,000 plus with high acuity and 28% admitted patients annually. Over 100 hours of physician coverage daily; 50 hour mid-level coverage. Robust hospitalist service, interventional cardiology 24/7, surgeons on-call for Trauma, hospital-employed Neurosurgery, separate Pediatric ED, Chest Pain accredited, EMS is hospital owned and managed. Best in class comp structure starting at $200/hr base. Generous benefits package, including health, dental, retirement plans and long term disability. CME time and CME stipened each year.

Hospital consistently ranks the busiest emergency room volume in North Carolina with over 120k visits annually. The medical center admits 1200 trauma patients with 15% penetrating trauma as an undesignated trauma center that is moving strongly to ACS verification and designation in the North Carolina Trauma System. The busy emergency room provides ample cases and complexity for the growing emergency general surgery component of the program. Our Medical Center serves 6+ counties with a population of 375k. There is a full complement of orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons and interventional radiologists supporting the trauma program in addition to unwavering support from the administrative team.
