Health System is seeking 2 board certified/board eligible Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Surgeons for its growing trauma program.Nationally renowned and consistently recognized for excellence in patient care and exceptional approaches to healthcare delivery.

Level 1 Trauma Center with:
• Over 1,500 annual adult trauma admissions.
• A newly renovated 85,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Emergency Department providing care to more than 82,000 patients each year.
• A 100-bed ICU critical care center.
• On-site rehabilitation care at Rehab Hospital.
• A commitment to quality improvement through participation in Performance Improvement Patient Safety process and the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (ACS TQIP® ).
• An active role in both regional and state-level process improvement.
The selected candidates will be members of Summa Physicians Inc., a multi-specialty medical group consisting of more than 300 physicians, and will join a well-established team of trauma surgeons.

• Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be Board Eligible/ Certified in General Surgery as well as Surgical Critical Care. An active research interest is also encouraged and will be supported. Duties include participating in trauma service coverage, acute care surgery, and the surgical intensive care unit at the main campus.
