Family Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Primary Care Physician in Cary, NC is skeeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work one on one with the physician.

Essential Job Duties:

• Accompany the physician into the patient examination room to accurately and efficiently document the encounter.
• Update the patient's medical record (EMR), documenting individual patient exams for the review and sign off.
• Document the reasoning for patient orders, lab tests, radiology tests and medications.
• Multi-task efficiently and effectively as required.
• Exhibit excellent listening skills; strong medical terminology is required.
• Assist with completion of forms and documents.
• Ensure HIPPA Compliance by protecting patient confidentially and practice operations by maintaining informtion confidentiality.

Other Job Duties:

• Perform physicial exams, obtain complete health history, review patient's medical records, assesses and evaluates the health status of the patient, order appropriate lab tests and diagnostic studies, develope a plan of care, prescribe medications with the established practice guidelines and performs simple procedures.
