The Requirements

- A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong sales skills & efficiency with sales processes; the ability to coach, mentor and lead sales team members

The Role
Opportunity SnapshotReporting to the Sales Manager, as Field Sales Manager (FSM), you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-6 Field Sales Representatives (FSRs). In addition to coaching and managing your team, you will both lead and support the development of sales opportunities between DECRA and our customer base by utilizing pull through selling techniques and strong hands-on training activities. Activities will include training team members and leveraging the region's Technical Trainer as appropriate to train distributors, contractors, installers and others. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Attaining established sales and profitability goals
- Organizing efforts to:
- Professionally meet day-to-day customer requests
- Follow-up on commitments to DECRA customers and internal personnel
- Develop and maintain Partnering Plans with all customers

- Participating in builder, contractor, trade organizations and shows as directed. Compliment sales efforts, as required
- Keeping records and developing reports in support of the sales process. Ensure timely submissions by your team

- Utilizing efficient and effective planning in the accomplishment of short, mid and long-term goals.
On a daily basis, you will get out in the field and develop, promote, and organize market opportunities to generate revenue growth and profits within your territory.
More specifically, you will:
- Actively pursue and convert new contractors and create long-term relationships for re-occurring revenue
- Be involved in networking organizations that are related to business or community development
- Maintain the CRM database
- Manage projects from the work orders through job start, job tracking and close-out
- Perform conceptual estimating and bidding with support from estimators/sales manager
- Manages job performance for financial success
- Develop strategies to control job cost
- Approve and submit travel and entertainment invoices in a timely manner
- Provide timely and accurate information to other departments

- New contractors and installers that have been converted

To meet those goals, you’ll need to be a hands-on leader who actively connects with your team and the customer base.
