Business & Corporate Transactional Associate Attorney

Donahue Fitzgerald LLP’s Walnut Creek office is interviewing for a mid to senior-level Corporate Transactional Associate Attorney to add to its rapidly growing transactional practice.

The ideal candidate will have four to seven years' experience emphasizing corporate, business, and commercial transactional matters, as well as some familiarity with real estate transactions.  

This position involves working directly with senior partners in managing a broad-based book of transactional work. The work is interesting and fast paced, with an emphasis on client service.  The selected candidate will play a key role in the continuing expansion of the firm’s transactional practice, and will be primarily based in the Walnut Creek office.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of general corporate and commercial law and significant experience working on sophisticated M&A and other business transactions for private companies.  The candidate must have a JD from a top-tier ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of California. 

Qualified candidates will be entrepreneurial self-starters, with strong academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments. The ideal candidate should have a collegial and mutually supportive attitude, and be willing to participate actively in marketing efforts.
