Job Description
Award winning German and American supper club and banquet facility is seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Head Chef and Lead Line Cook. Key responsibilities include: leading, managing, scheduling and training culinary staff, ordering and maintaining product inventory and managing cost control, and building effective relationships with food vendors. Upholding the integrity of our established recipes and executing menus planned for banquet events seating up to 450 are also critical to the continued success of our restaurant.
Qualifications:
Proven record of leadership, exceptional cooking skills, service excellence, and outstanding communication skills with staff. Desired candidates will also demonstrate the ability to plan ahead, be organized and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They will be able to promote a positive working environment and have an upbeat attitude while maintaining professional character in and outside the kitchen.
