Full Time Small Animal Veterinarian Wanted!

Come be a part of an exciting experience!  The East River Veterinary Clinic will be opening mid August.  We are looking for an energetic, positive and confident veterinarian who will be the solo practitioner in this newly reopened small animal exclusive veterinary clinic.  The clinic is currently undergoing many  changes in order to better serve its expanding client base, including the new Heska Cuatro digital radiography system, and new Heska Element hematology system.  You will also be able to use brand new surgical equipment such as a new anesthetic machine, new surgical packs and monitoring system.

*You should be willing to work full time and be confident in both surgical and medical cases.  

Current best practice standards such as pre-operative bloodwork, surgical monitoring, preventive care, fluid therapy, and pain management are required to be utilized.  Client communicaton such as estimates, follow-up visits, and post surgical consults will also be required.  

*We also believe in the use of a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to assist with surgical preparation, patient recovery and patient care.

You will be working in the Tri-City area of Michigan.  Essexville is only two miles away from the downtown area of Bay City.  Downtown Bay City is undergoing many positive changes, such as opening the new City Market and opening many new restaurants.  Bay City is an actively growing area with many attractions and events that are popular for all ages.  From raising children to retirement, Bay County is a popular area for both recreation and business.
